Why We’re Different
At Richmond Granite we set out to exceed our customer’s expectations at every level of the project. What we think doesn’t matter, it’s what our customers think that matters. We will not consider a job complete until our customers consider it complete.
Our positive reputation depends on it and we always strive for it.
Our project manager is going to be very meticulous at presenting a job to you, our customer. The project manager will take you through the installation process step-by-step so that you will know what to expect and when to expect it. We want your input all along the way. You will be looking at your countertops for a very long time so you should expect the finished job to be nothing short of perfect. Not just good, but PERFECT.
We invite you to visit our showroom so that you can select your countertop as a large sample, not a small tile. Yes, you are welcome to take a sample home to view it in the light it will be installed in.
You’ve probably heard the saying “measure twice and cut once”. Our craftsman will measure many times to insure that the countertop will fit exactly the way it should. “That looks okay” is not what we want to hear.
Old Countertop Removal
Here again, we are going to take our time and meticulously remove the old countertop being careful not to damage the cabinets while doing so. We don’t want scratches and dings on your beautiful cabinets.
The Dry Run
We will next install the granite countertop on top of the cabinet shell and make certain that it fits perfectly. If not, we’ll do the necessary sanding and trimming to have the countertop fitting perfectly square and snug.
Next, we will add the backsplash making certain that it fits tightly against the wall. We will make certain that it fits squarely after completing the necessary adjustments before going further with the project.
No runs, no drips, no errors. We are as meticulous about gluing down your countertop as we are about measuring it.
After verifying that we have a perfect installation and that there is a consistent and even bond, we will place some weight on the countertop and let it sit over night to insure an even bond and at this point we will check for level front to back and side to side.
Clean at Last
Finally, we will clean the countertop while avoiding even the smallest scratches and leave you with the most beautiful installation possible!
